Department of Neurology in the WVU School of Medicine
are seeking a
Neurologist
(ranks available: Assistant Professor, Associate Professor, or Professor). The successful candidate will be expected to practice in Bridgeport, WV. Duties
The successful candidate will practice in the area of neurology. In addition to providing excellent patient care, the candidate will also be actively involved in teaching medical students and residents. Qualifications
MD or DO degree or foreign equivalent and eligibility for state medical licensure. Completed a neurology residency program and board certified/eligible in neurology. All qualifications must be met by the time of appointment. About United Hospital Center and WVU Health System
As a full member of the WVU Health System, United Hospital Center (UHC) is part of a broad, integrated network of doctors, hospitals, clinics, and specialized institutes across West Virginia and neighboring states. UHC opened in 2010 and features a large multi-story facility with extensive private inpatient rooms and a large medical staff. The WVU Rockefeller Neuroscience Institute guides a team of dedicated faculty in providing compassionate patient care and advanced medicine through education, research, and outreach. The Institute focuses on neurological and psychiatric conditions ranging from Alzheimer’s to Parkinson’s, autism to stroke, and paralysis to chronic pain, addictions, and traumatic brain injury.
