is Seeking a
Producer in Training
to join our growing team in
Minneapolis, MN ! The producer in Training will be placed in various departments to assist in those particular activities and duties in order to gain technical knowledge and learn processes and procedures of Brown & Brown. The producer in Training will also be given various training and educational opportunities during the training program. The overall objective is to be prepared to move into a sales position as an Insurance Sales Producer at the conclusion of the training program. Responsibilities
The main duty and responsibility of a producer in training is to find, develop, propose, and bind new business. Follow all systems, procedures, and insurance company regulations. Obtain prospects and actively pursue and create interest by telephone calls, writing letters, or occasional personal visits. Attend insurance company meetings for public relations purposes. Understand the role of automation in our agency and maximize utilization of its capability for customer service and marketing activities. Perform other duties upon request. Licenses and Certifications
440 or 220 License Skills & Experience to Be Successful
Ability to read and write English Excellent communication skills A strong work ethic Ability to understand the needs and requirements of clients Capable of maintaining long-term relationships with clients Thorough knowledge of all the insurance policies and pros and cons related to them College Degree Preferred Pay Range Pay Range $80k - $100k Annual The pay range provided above is made in good faith and based on our lowest and highest annual salary or hourly rate paid for the role and takes into account years of experience required, geography, and/or budget for the role.
