Carolina K is seeking an enthusiastic, creative, and purpose-driven
Designer
to join our team in Miami. This is an
in-office position ; hybrid or remote options are not available, though we could consider a New York-based designer that can relocate. The ideal candidate is passionate about sustainability and artisanal craftsmanship, has extensive experience in luxury fashion, and thrives in a collaborative, hands-on environment. This role will play a key part in developing our
ready-to-wear, knitwear, swimwear, and homeware collections
while staying true to our brand ethos of sustainability, heritage, and artistry. Key Responsibilities
Design and develop
ready-to-wear, knitwear, swimwear, and homeware collections
across four seasons annually. Create
patterns
and support
textile and print design
as needed. Participate in the
full product cycle , integrating feedback from production and market performance into new designs. Research
new factories
and source
eco-friendly materials , ensuring each collection is designed with a sustainable and long-lasting approach. Travel internationally to collaborate directly with
artisan cooperatives
and
factories , maintaining our brand’s ethos and working hands-on with the producers of our collections. Collaborate closely with
Carolina
and the design team to bring the brand’s vision into reality. Skills & Qualifications
5+ years of experience
in fashion design (luxury/high-end strongly preferred). Bachelor’s degree
in Fashion Design, Merchandising, or related field. Strong understanding of
sustainable practices
in the fashion industry. Ability to thrive in a
fast-paced, detail- and data-driven environment . Excellent organizational and multitasking skills to manage multiple projects. Bilingual (Spanish & English)
strongly preferred. Knowledge of AI tools
applied to design and creative processes, strongly advised. Proficiency in
Photoshop, InDesign, and other industry-standard design programs
required. Passion for artisanal work, sustainability, and meaningful design innovation. Seniority level
