Physical Security Contract Manager - San Francisco, CA

Position Overview
In addition to providing contract administration and ensuring compliance with all requirements of the Agreement, the Physical Security Contract Manager will oversee and manage all security and command center operations.
Candidates should expect to put in long hours and significant effort during the first 60 to 90 days to launch and stabilize the program.
Once established, the role will shift into a more predictable day-to-day operational rhythm.
Compensation Salary:
$150,000
Responsibilities
Ensure personnel perform all duties and requirements of the Agreement, ensuring quality of services and supplies, timeliness of all deliverables, controlling costs, compliance with all government reporting requirements, quality control and management of designated personnel
Make decisions on behalf of the company, particularly on personnel-related issues
Supervise all individuals working under this contract
Be available on a 24-hour basis to ensure prompt response in the event of an emergency or exigent circumstance
Conduct prompt and thorough internal investigations of reported complaints or concerns
Ensure all equipment and property is tracked and accounted for, and otherwise safeguarded
Have overall responsibility for implementing, monitoring, and upgrading the program quality control plan
Serve as the focal point for Clients for all program activities and be responsible for overall quality and standards conformance in accordance with the SOW
Respond to Client personnel in a timely, effective and professional manner
Serve as liaison to Clients' representatives to establish local Security Officer regulations, rules, policies, and procedures
Plan projects, meet objectives, develop contingencies, and manage resources within the project budget
Oversee, supervise and provide security services during special events, including access control, event guest check-in, enforcing security SOPs, managing disruptions, collaborating with event organizers, and conducting patrols
Qualifications
Minimum of 5 years of specialized military or law enforcement experience with honorable discharge or separation. Specialized experience includes project development and implementation from inspection to deployment; expertise in management and control of funds and resources using complex reporting mechanisms; and demonstrated capability in managing multi-task contracts or subcontracts of various types
Bachelor's Degree or substantial and verifiable law enforcement, military or business management experience
Verifiable experience and training in security awareness, mediation and conflict resolution, disaster and emergency situations, and managing personnel at various types of facilities
Fully computer literate with computer hardware and software used to perform the Services
U.S. Citizen with a valid Social Security card and a valid state driver's license
Must meet all medical and physical standards as outlined in the contract
Must meet background screening and suitability requirements
Outstanding written and oral communication skills in the English language

Extended hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays, may be required.
