Overview
Novastone Capital Advisors (NCA) runs a global Operator-Led Search Fund program, helping mid-career professionals to identify, acquire, grow, and exit established SMEs typically faced with succession challenges. We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Investor Relations Analyst to join our Investor Relations (IR) team. This role is primarily operations-focused, with responsibilities centred on managing investor and portfolio company data, distributing reports, organizing investor calls, updating marketing materials, and maintaining data rooms. You will also play a key role in supporting investor communications, onboarding new co-investors, and coordinating IR-related activities. This position is ideal for someone at the start of their IR career who enjoys working behind the scenes to ensure smooth operations. The role offers the opportunity to gain exposure to investor relations while building strong operational expertise in a fast-paced, international environment.
Responsibilities Operations:
Update and maintain accurate investor and portfolio company data in the CRM system
Manage and update deal data rooms to ensure materials are current, well-organized, and accessible
Prepare and update marketing materials, presentations, and investor collateral
Onboard new co-investors to NCA’s Operator-Led Search Fund Program
Work with legal counsel to populate legal documents and distribute them to investors
Ensure accuracy, consistency, and confidentiality in all data and communications
Support the IR team in various operational and administrative tasks to ensure smooth day-to-day function
Investor Relations and Communication:
Distribute quarterly investor reports and communications in a timely and professional manner
Assist in developing and maintaining the investor relations strategy and framework
Build consistent and clear communication between internal and external parties
Support fundraising efforts to acquire target companies
Support the coordination of investor events, conferences, and roadshows
Organize and coordinate calls or meetings with co-investors and NCA Portfolio Company CEOs
Research and propose relevant industry events, groups, or webinars for the IR team to attend
Requirements Must Have:
Bachelor’s degree in Economics, Finance, Communications, or a related field
Ability to work independently with strong self-motivation and accountability
Trustworthy with excellent time management, organizational, and problem-solving skills
Strong attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy
Effective communicator with collaborative, team-oriented mindset
Ability to work well with others in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities
Strong work ethic, transparency, and reliability
Nice to Have:
1–3 years of experience in IR, Finance, or a related area (internships included)
Experience with CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce, Altvia, or similar)
Experience with high-volume data entry and data cleaning
Exposure to working with investors, entrepreneurs, or executives
