You enjoy being a part of an exciting and dynamic group, and you’re committed to continuously enhancing the productivity and effectiveness of your team. Lastly, you enjoy working hard and celebrating hard, and you’d be shocked if guests weren’t positively impacted by their interactions with you.The **Part-Time Traffic Ambassador** will assist with customer service duties, including helping pedestrians with exterior wayfinding in parking lots and public right-of-way spaces. This will include directional assistance and rideshare area assistance.**Key Responsibilities:****Pedestrian Safety & Monitoring*** Monitor pedestrian activity in parking lots, sidewalks, rideshare zones, and other public right-of-way areas to ensure safety and smooth flow.**Rideshare Assistance*** Assist ride share patrons at designated TNC (Transportation Network Company) locations by helping them connect with the correct Uber or Lyft vehicle.**Event Support & Traffic Coordination*** Support Hawks staff and traffic management teams during offsite community events and Season Ticket Member (STM) activations by managing pedestrian movement in public right-of-way spaces.*\*Other duties as assigned.***Requirements:*** 2-4 Year college degree preferred* 2 years’ experience in a professional environment and/or training or equivalent combination of education and experience, which can include security, hospitality, customer service, etc.* Possesses excellent written and verbal communication skills, strong reflective listening skills* Possesses excellent time management and organizational skills* Proven ability to deal with and resolve difficult situations involving customers and/or staff members* Working knowledge of emergency communication for public safety.* Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals* Ability to write routine reports and correspondence* Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees* Ability to interpret and/or convey a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form. Familiarity with Microsoft Office, 365, and related computer operating systems.* Position requires the ability to stand for extended periods of time, walk, and sit for extended periods of time* Position requires the ability to occasionally lift and/or move up to 20 pounds* Position requires the ability to work in a fast-paced parking or exterior public right-of-way environment amidst pedestrian crowds, parking patrons, and ride-share patrons* Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
