CTS Cardiology Associate/Sonographer - Per Diem - Non-Invasive Cardiology at Stony Brook Medicine. The TH CTS Cardiology Associate provides clinical services to our patient population with emphasis on high-quality patient care and effective communication in a non-invasive cardiology setting. Responsibilities
Under the general supervision of the Technical Director of Echocardiography, perform and assist in echocardiographic procedures on adult inpatients and outpatients using standard 2D, color flow, Doppler and M-Mode techniques as indicated. The technologist\'s primary area is all aspects of echocardiography; facility with 2D, color and Doppler echocardiography is required. Enter charges for exams performed. Enter patient data/measurements into the reporting system. Act as a clinical resource and preceptor for new staff and students. Serve on selected committees of the nursing, administrative, and medical staff as assigned by the Nurse Manager of Non-Invasive Cardiology. Qualifications
Required:
A graduate of an accredited diagnostic ultrasound school program. Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer or registry eligible. Preferred:
One year experience in Cardiac Ultrasound. Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer or registry eligible. Special Notes

Anticipated Pay Range:
