Senior Accountant

Position Overview
The Senior Accountant will be responsible for overseeing financial reporting, ensuring compliance with GAAP, and managing the accounting team. This role requires a detail-oriented individual with strong analytical skills and expertise in tax preparation, budgeting, and financial analysis to support the organization's financial health and growth.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare and review financial statements in accordance with GAAP standards.
  • Manage the auditing process, ensuring compliance and accuracy of financial records.
  • Oversee tax preparation and ensure timely filing of all required documentation.
  • Develop and monitor budgets and forecasts to drive financial planning efforts.
  • Conduct financial analysis to identify trends and provide insights for decision-making.
  • Manage accounts receivable and accounts payable processes to ensure accuracy and timeliness of transactions.
  • Perform reconciliations of accounts to maintain financial integrity.
  • Utilize ERP systems for efficient financial management and reporting.
  • Assist in the development of internal controls and financial policies.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in accounting or finance roles.
  • Strong knowledge of GAAP and auditing practices.
  • Experience in tax preparation and compliance.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other accounting software.
