This is a live-in position offering a private bedroom and full bath in the family's spacious home. The family lives in a quiet, scenic neighborhood with easy access to parks, walking trails, and local amenities. A family vehicle is available for errands and work-related driving. The private living space provides comfort and privacy while remaining part of the household.
The ideal candidate will assist with childcare as well as household support, including light housekeeping, meal preparation, organizing seasonal home decor, and maintaining a smooth-running home. Key Responsibilities:
Children's Activities & Transportation
- Pick up and drop off children from school, extracurricular activities, and social commitments
- Support children's academic, social, and recreational development
- Engage children in educational activities, arts, and age-appropriate play
- Maintain structured routines and schedules for homework, meals, and activities
Household Management & Support
- Light housekeeping, including tidying, laundry for the children, and maintaining clean common areas
- Meal preparation and assistance with family meals, including planning healthy options
- Assist with seasonal and holiday home decor, including setup and storage
- Organize and manage household supplies and errands
- Support family schedules, appointments, and daily routines
- Coordinate with other household staff or service providers as needed
- Maintain discretion and confidentiality at all times
Qualifications: Minimum 3+ years of experience in childcare Nanny or Household management experience preferred Strong organizational and multitasking skills; ability to work independently Dependable, energetic, and professional demeanor Loving and nurturing approach with children Valid driver's license with clean driving record CPR and First Aid certified (or willing to obtain) Authorized to work in the United States Up-to-date on vaccinations Able to provide 3 strong professional references
