CooperDouglas is partnering with a rapidly growing, venture-backed healthcare SaaS company to hire a dynamic Accounting Manager who is excited to scale an accounting function in a pre-IPO environment. This is a rare opportunity to step into a high-impact role where you'll own core accounting processes, build rigor and structure, and partner cross-functionally in a business that is reshaping healthcare technology.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and execute daily accounting operations, including AP, AR, GL, and monthly close across multiple entities and new acquisitions.
  • Own balance sheet and P&L reconciliations, ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting in compliance with GAAP.
  • Drive account reconciliations, journal entries, and intercompany transactions with precision and efficiency.
  • Mentor and support staff accountants, elevating process ownership and technical depth across the team.
  • Partner closely with FP&A on cash flows, variance analyses, and revenue reporting to influence financial decision-making.
  • Play a central role in optimizing NetSuite and supporting the upcoming ERP implementation to create automation and scalable workflows.
  • Develop policies, procedures, and internal controls designed to support audit readiness and IPO preparation.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related discipline; CPA a plus.
  • 5-8 years of progressive accounting experience, ideally including management responsibilities.
  • Proven hands-on expertise with NetSuite (required); ERP implementation experience strongly valued.
  • Background in SaaS, healthcare tech, or other high-growth, venture-backed companies preferred.
  • Strong technical GAAP knowledge and mastery of the accounting cycle.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, evolving environment with a builder mindset and high attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills with a collaborative approach.

Compensation range $110,000 - $140,000 + bonus
