This is a 3rd Shift position with a 12% shift differential Provide Operations Engineering support to the Circuit Card Assembly Factory located in Andover, MA. Primary responsibilities will be to support the Operation of SMT Process lines, which includes automated and programmable equipment, for multiple products. Additional responsibilities include process improvement, cycle time reduction, defect prevention and operator support. Individual will be required to participate in process improvement initiatives, establishment of process base line metrics, SPC implementation, Defect prevention, and process data analysis. Advanced knowledge of Solder defect prevention detection, and assessment to ANSI J-STD-001 Class 3 solder joint specifications Translating engineering design requirements into formal manufacturing process documentation Computer and machine programming for manufacturing automation Participate in process improvement and cost reduction initiatives using Lean Manufacturing methodology Manufacturing process development and support Typically Requires a Bachelor's degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Math (STEM) and minimum 2 years of relevant experience. Minimum 1 year of previous manufacturing experience S. government issued security clearance is required. S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance Experience in applying Lean Manufacturing principals Experience with supporting circuit card assembly production floor, (process and/or quality focus).
