Responsibilities

Lead the overall operations of the Office of Careers and Corporate Partnerships, including staff supervision and maintenance of online resources, job boards, and employer databases.
Develop and promote engaging programs that connect employers with students and help students prepare for careers through workshops, events, and strategic communication.
Build strong, lasting relationships with employers through regular outreach, site visits, and participation in key industry conferences and networking events.
Execute formal partnerships and sponsorships with industry organizations.
Track and analyze student outcomes related to internships, job placements, and salaries, using data to inform strategic decisions and present insights to college leadership.
Design and execute strategies to expand the pool of employers recruiting CJC students, with an emphasis on creating diverse and high-impact opportunities.
Collaborate with UF's Career Connections Center (C3) and the CJC Knight Division to align employer engagement efforts and maximize student support.
Represent CJC at professional meetings and events, promoting students and programs to a wide range of stakeholders across regional, national, and international platforms.

Qualifications

Required: Master’s degree in an appropriate area of specialization and six years of appropriate experience; or a bachelor’s degree in an appropriate area of specialization and eight years of appropriate experience.
Preferred: Bachelor's degree in a relevant field; Master’s degree preferred. At least six years of progressive experience in career services, employer relations, sales, higher education, or related area.
