Program Manager III, Supply Chain Operations, Technical Infrastructure

Google is seeking a Program Manager III to lead complex, multi-disciplinary projects from start to finish. The successful candidate will have experience driving progress, solving problems, and mentoring junior team members, with deeper expertise and applied knowledge within the relevant area. Responsibilities will include: Driving material and supply chain readiness for all NPI builds from concept phase to production handoff, and partnering with cross-functional teams to ensure success. Identifying and communicating supply chain risks and mitigation plans to ensure materials readiness for NPI builds, as well as enabling long-term supply continuity into production. Liaising with Original Device Manufacturing (ODM)/Contract Manufacturer (CM)/Suppliers, managing spend against project budgets, and driving production risk buys and strategic buffers. Developing and documenting global supply chain maps for each product, including suppliers, procurement models, lead times, shipment logistics, assembly/test/fulfillment models, and spares strategies. Updating project schedules, communicating status, risks, and influencing change, and representing the New Product Introduction Supply Chain organization in internal program meetings, driving initiatives and process improvements to help the team grow in scalability. Requirements include: Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience. 5 years of experience in program or project management. Experience driving New Product Introduction (NPI) for hardware programs or electrical manufacturing builds (e.g., PCBA, accelerators, equipment, racks, switches, optics). Preferred qualifications include: 2 years of experience managing cross-functional or cross-team projects. Experience driving and qualifying hardware or machine learning equipment through data centers. Experience with hardware bill of materials (BOMs), process documentation, and assembly and test processes. Experience in supply/demand planning.
