Overview
Technical Program Manager II, Data Center Equipment Manufacturing, Supply Chain. This role focuses on driving progress, solving problems, mentoring team members, and applying deep experience in manufacturing operations for electrical equipment and hardware. Management of New Product Introduction (NPI) programs and the product life-cycle (PLC) is required. Responsibilities
Lead cross-functional program teams within Google and with external partners to prepare for production ramp or product transitions. Plan and execute operations development activities and ensure transition to production within cost, quality, and capacity parameters, and ensure production ramp meeting program goals. Manage ramp readiness with internal teams and external partners (e.g., material availability, cost/assembly/test/BOM/capacity readiness and transition plans). Drive cross-functional teams to optimize the supply chain for specific strategic reasons, while accounting for risks, changes in schedule, or demand. Qualifications
Bachelor\'s degree in a technical field, or equivalent practical experience. 2 years of experience in program management. Experience with manufacturing operations for electrical equipment and hardware. Experience in managing New Product Introduction (NPI) programs and the product life-cycle (PLC). Experience in Design and Manufacturing in a New Product Introduction (NPI) role. Experience in multiple aspects of hardware operations. Knowledge about typical hardware bill of materials, process documentation and assembly and test processes. Preferred qualifications
MBA or Master\'s degree in Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain, Operations Research, Operations Engineering or other relevant field. 2 years of experience managing cross-functional or cross-team projects. Experience in Design and Manufacturing in a New Product Introduction (NPI) role. Experience in multiple aspects of hardware operations. US base salary range for this full-time position is $132,000-$189,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location; individual pay is determined by work location and factors such as skills, experience, and training.
