Aegis Worldwide is partnered with a pharmaceutical manufacturorer on the east side of Indianapolis who is looking to add a production operator to their team. We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Production Operator to join theirdynamic team at a leading medication coating manufacturing facility. The ideal candidate brings at least 2 years of hands-on experience as a forklift operator and manufacturing operator, with a strong focus on safety, precision, and efficiency in a regulated production environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate and monitor medication coating machines and related production equipment in accordance with standard operating procedures (SOPs).

  • Set up, clean, and perform minor maintenance on production equipment to ensure consistent operation.

  • Handle raw materials and finished products safely, including loading/unloading using a forklift (valid certification ).

  • Perform quality checks and document results to ensure compliance with GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices) and company standards.

  • Follow detailed batch records and production instructions accurately.

  • Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to safety and hygiene standards at all times.

  • Collaborate with team members and supervisors to meet daily production targets and resolve equipment or process issues.

  • Assist in inventory management, material staging, and warehouse duties as required.

  • Participate in ongoing training and continuous improvement initiatives.

Qualifications:

  • 2+ years of experience in a manufacturing/production operator role, preferably in pharmaceuticals, food, or other regulated industries.

  • Forklift operation experience (valid certification is a plus).

  • Familiarity with GMP, SOPs, and safety protocols in a manufacturing setting.

  • Ability to read and interpret technical documents, batch records, and work instructions.

  • Strong attention to detail, manual dexterity, and mechanical aptitude.

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.

  • Machine Setups for Production Runs
