We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Data Analyst to join our Operations team. This role is pivotal in enabling data-driven decision-making by owning the reporting and analytics layer that powers day-to-day performance management.
The Data Analyst will ensure reporting accuracy, surface actionable insights, and provide leadership with meaningful analysis of departmental performance trends. Operating within our federated Operations model, the Data Analyst partners closely with the Insights & Analytics Center of Excellence (CoE) to leverage enterprise data standards, while tailoring solutions to meet the department’s unique needs.

Responsibilities
- Develop, maintain, and optimize dashboards and reports for departmental performance monitoring.
- Validate and monitor data quality across systems (e.g., Salesforce, Chargebee, marketing platforms, service tools).
- Partner with the Analytics CoE to align with enterprise-wide data models and definitions.
Performance Analysis & Insights
- Analyze key departmental KPIs (pipeline health, campaign ROI, churn, utilization, profitability, etc.) using SQL, Excel, and Power BI.
- Deliver actionable insights that inform strategy and prioritization through compelling visualizations and data storytelling.
- Conduct ad hoc analyses to support leadership decisions and root-cause investigations.
- Translate business needs into robust data solutions in partnership with Business Analysts and the Analytics CoE.
- Uphold governance standards by ensuring consistency of datasets, documentation of sources, and adherence to enterprise metric definitions.
- Actively engage with managers and team members to clarify KPIs, explain dashboards, and answer data-related inquiries.
- Contribute to cross-departmental initiatives (e.g., CAB, Ops Council) by providing concise data analyses and tailored reporting.
Enablement & Adoption
- Facilitate training sessions and create user-friendly guides to drive adoption of dashboards and reporting tools.
- Document data sources, metrics, and usage guidelines to improve accessibility and understanding.
- Champion the adoption of analytics-driven decision-making across the department.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience in data analysis, business intelligence, or analytics.
- Advanced proficiency in Excel (pivot tables, advanced formulas, modeling) and Power BI (dashboards, DAX, data modeling).
- Working knowledge of SQL for querying, validation, and dataset management.
- Strong understanding of sales, marketing, service, or finance metrics and workflows.
- Demonstrated expertise in problem-solving, data visualization, and performance trend analysis.
- Ability to collaborate with both technical teams and business stakeholders.
Preferred Skills & Qualifications
- Experience supporting a federated or shared-services operational model.
- Familiarity with data governance frameworks and enterprise reporting standards.
- Exposure to advanced analytics, such as statistical modeling or forecasting.
- Background in change management or analytics adoption initiatives.
- Analytical Mindset: Translates raw data into actionable insights using Excel, Power BI, and SQL.
- Data Stewardship: Maintains accuracy, consistency, and reliability of key metrics.
