Forklift Driver

$18.00 an hour w/ OT, Full-time

Location: Mebane, NC

Job summary: This position is responsible for receiving, loading and unloading 53' trailers, flatbeds and containers as well as preparing material for shipping.

Responsibilities

• Unload material to warehouse dock
• Identify damaged product or shortages and report to appropriate personnel
• Properly use RF scanners
• Pull material from location for shipping
• Load outbound trucks
• Operate various types of equipment including but not limited to picker, stand-up lift, and electric lifts
• Shrink wrap pallets
• Meet on-time performance metrics
• Comply with policies/procedures including safety procedures
• Other duties as assigned
• Support the Givens Mission and Values of Integrity, Family, Drive

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required
• Basic math skills
• Valid forklift certificate or ability to obtain
• Excellent hand-eye coordination
