Sequoias Community College District accepts applications for part-time adjunct faculty pools to teach Welding within its Industrial and Technology Department continuously. Screening committees will conduct screening of candidates. Meeting minimum qualifications does not assure an interview. If the department does not have an immediate need to add candidates to their pool, applications remain in the queue for one year in active status.

Part-Time Adjunct Pools

• Part-Time Adjunct Faculty assignments may include weekend and/or evening classes at the Visalia Campus, the Hanford Educational Center, or the Tulare College Center.
• If you submit a duplicate application, only your most recent will remain active for one year.
• Part-Time Adjunct faculty positions are temporary and do not accrue rights to tenure.

Responsibilities

Under the general direction of a dean or director, adjunct faculty provide comprehensive classroom instruction to community college students. The majority of departments require the ability to teach face-to-face classes. You may find current course listings in the Academic Catalog. Adjunct faculty will also be expected to collect and submit data on student learning objectives as needed.

Qualifications

The minimum qualifications for all disciplines may be found within the "Minimum Qualifications for Faculty and Administrators in California Community Colleges".
