About the Role
The Company is seeking a dynamic and strategic Senior Vice President of Human Resources to establish and lead the HR function within its rapidly growing organization. In this key leadership role, you will have the unique opportunity to build the HR infrastructure from the ground up, including the creation of innovative policies, systems, and tools to support our multi-entity, multi-state workforce.
Your diverse responsibilities will span compliance, payroll, talent development, and strategic planning. You will oversee payroll and benefits administration, ensure positive employee relations, and maintain compliance with labor laws while designing and implementing effective talent management strategies. Fostering a culture of engagement and accountability will be a crucial part of your role.
The ideal candidate will possess a proven track record in progressive HR roles, particularly in building HR infrastructure and teams. Experience in high-growth or private equity-backed organizations is highly regarded, along with a deep understanding of various HR disciplines. This role requires the ability to work independently, navigate through ambiguity, and instill structure in a dynamic environment.
Excellent interpersonal, leadership, and communication skills are essential, as you will need to influence all levels of the organization effectively. While not mandatory, experience in construction, field services, or related blue-collar environments is preferred. Moreover, you will play a vital role in supporting M&A integration efforts as the company continues to expand through acquisition.
