What You Will Do Assists patients, staff and physicians as needed to maintain a high level of efficiency of operations and customer service while providing quality care to a designated patient population.

Required Qualifications

California Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) – CA Board of Vocational Nursing & Psychiatric Technicians – REQUIRED

AHA Basic Life Support for Healthcare Professional (AHA BLS Healthcare) – REQUIRED

Preferred Qualifications

1 Year LVN experience in related clinical area

Ambulatory care experience

ACLS Certification (American Heart Association) – PREFERRED

IV Certification (NPTA Sterile Product Certification) – PREFERRED

Essential Functions

Clinical skills: Demonstrates clinical knowledge and skill in assigned area; administers medications safely per guidelines; supports patient exams and procedures; verifies medication administration with two patient identifiers; documents care per protocol.

Patient care & education: Prepares patient for examination or procedure; obtains consent; provides educational material; supports front desk responsibilities as needed.

Communication & teamwork: Partners with physicians; handles patient calls; assists with scheduling; maintains infection control practices.

Department operations: Manages daily tasks, patient flow, schedules, and inventories; supports site inspections and cross-site coverage when needed.

Nursing competencies & quality: Completes required nursing competencies and QA activities; maintains narcotic controls and prescription reconciliation as applicable.

Knowledge, Skills, And Abilities

Demonstrated proficiency in clinical nursing skills and judgment.
