Role Digital Cloud Solution Architect
will proactively help win the customer’s technical decision. You will gather insights about the client business, learn technical requirements, and propose viable Microsoft-based solutions to support digital transformation. You will architect solutions that meet business and IT needs, ensure technical viability, and coordinate resources, partners, and Microsoft technologies as appropriate.
This role is part of the Global SMB segment, working with digital natives, enterprises, and small businesses that maintain a direct relationship with Microsoft. Success is measured by net-new revenue contribution and workload adoption/expansion within the assigned portfolio.
Program To prepare for the role, you will be enrolled in the Elevate and Early-in-Profession (EiP) Program. Microsoft’s Elevate and Early-in-Profession (EiP) programs develop early-career talent through onboarding and mentorship, immersive training, structured job shadowing, and dedicated mentors. The aim is to accelerate productivity and long-term growth within the company.

Responsibilities
Sales Customer Engagements: Engage with customer technical decision makers, learn about the customer’s business, industry, needs, and priorities; build credibility with customers either individually or at scale.
Scale Through Partners: Facilitate technical engagements with partners, manage the sales process, and contribute to competitive strategies; use demonstrations and assets as appropriate.
Architecture Design and Deployment: Contribute to viable solution proposals, support pilots and proofs of concept, and assist in research and testing for architecture concepts.
Driving Customer Success: Build aligned customer timelines, capture sponsorship and projects tied to technology outcomes, and facilitate feedback and resource alignment across communities.
Technical Leadership: Leverage readiness materials, participate in Microsoft tech community activities, and promote skilling programs for customer teams.
Other: Embody Microsoft culture and values.
Qualifications Required Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field
OR Relevant certifications from Microsoft or competitive platforms in technical architecture, technical consulting, design and implementation, or technical sales
OR 2+ years of experience in technical architecture, technical consulting, design and implementation, and/or technical sales
Experience as a trusted technical advisor or managing business relationships in technical sales or consultative sales
Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field AND 2+ years of related experience
1+ year of cloud-based solution designs, migrations, and management experience

Compensation and Location Digital Cloud Solution Architecture IC2 — typical base pay range in the U.S. is USD $32.84 - $66.30 per hour. A separate range applies in the San Francisco Bay Area and New York City metropolitan area: USD $44.81 - $72.69 per hour.
