Base pay range
$120,000.00/yr - $160,000.00/yr Responsibilities
Senior Engineer will serve as technical lead on major bridge design, rehabilitation, and inspection projects Lead and provide oversight of structural analysis, load ratings, plan production, and specifications Guide the development and QA/QC of engineering deliverables to meet client and regulatory expectations Interface directly with DOTs, municipalities, contractors, and other stakeholders Lead proposal development, project scoping, scheduling, and budgeting As a Senior Engineer, you will mentor and provide technical guidance to junior and mid-level engineers Oversee field investigations, structural evaluations, and forensic assessments Stay current on industry standards, including AASHTO LRFD, AREMA, and emerging innovations in bridge design and construction Requirements
Bachelor\'s degree in Civil or Structural Engineering required, (Master\'s preferred) Professional Engineer (PE) license required; SE license a plus 10+ years of bridge design experience, preferably on DOT or public infrastructure projects Proven track record working with DOTs and public agencies on infrastructure projects Expertise in bridge engineering software (e.g., CSiBridge, MIDAS, LARSA 4D, SAP2000) and drafting tools (AutoCAD, MicroStation) In-depth knowledge of structural systems, materials, and construction practices Strong leadership, communication, and client management skills Experience in FEA and complex analysis a plus Note: Pay is not considered compensation until it is earned, vested and determinable. The amount and availability of any compensation remains in Kforce\'s sole discretion unless and until paid and may be modified in its discretion consistent with the law.
