$100,000.00/yr - $122,000.00/yr JOB DESCRIPTION Our large CPG client is looking for a content strategist that is responsible for leading content strategy across key online retailers like Amazon, Walmart.com, Target.com, and Ulta.com for this company’s product portfolio. This role defines retailer-specific content standards, translates brand campaigns into optimized digital assets, and manages the full content production workflow—from briefing creative teams to delivering final assets. The strategist also builds content toolkits for launches, partners with PIM/DAM teams to ensure proper asset management, and uses performance data to drive ongoing optimization through strategic updates. The goal is to create compelling, consistent product pages that educate shoppers and drive conversion. This will be based in Stamford, CT 3x a week. REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE 7+ years of experience in digital marketing, content strategy, brand marketing, or a creative agency role Strong understanding of the content requirements and best practices for major retail platforms (Amazon A+, Walmart Rich Media, Target Enhanced Content, etc.) Familiarity with PIM/DAM/Syndication systems (e.g., Salsify) Clear understanding of SEO principles as they apply to the digital shelf Ability to build strong relationships and influence across different functions (Brand, Sales, Agency partners) Ability to translate brand marketing language into clear, actionable direction for a creative agency, and can articulate the unique needs of a retailer to the Brand team Direct experience writing effective creative briefs Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple complex projects simultaneously Experience creating pivot tables and Power Querys Compensation $100-122K Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education.
