Truckload Operations Manager

This is a full-time on-site role for a Truckload Operations Manager located in Chicago, IL. The Truckload Operations Manager will be responsible for overseeing and managing all aspects of daily truckload freight operations. This includes coordinating and dispatching shipments, optimizing routing plans, negotiating rates with carriers, ensuring compliance with regulations, and maintaining strong relationships with both shippers and carriers. The role also involves monitoring performance metrics and implementing strategies to enhance operational efficiency and customer satisfaction. Qualifications Experience in Truckload Operations, Dispatching, and Carrier Management Knowledge of Route Optimization, Freight Brokerage, and Negotiation Skills Strong understanding of Regulatory Compliance and Safety Standards Proficiency in using Logistics Software and Systems Excellent Communication, Organizational, and Problem-Solving Skills Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or related field preferred Experience in the logistics industry is a plus Aries Freight Systems is an equal opportunities employer and welcomes applications from all qualified candidates.
