Limited area of consideration to Command-Wide (SAF) AF Internal or AF DCIPS Candidates only. Applicants must be a current member of SAF to be eligible. Duties Establishes, defines, and implements requirements for mission (force) support programs to ensure services and functions are in line with organizational goals and mission requirements. Conducts program improvement initiatives and influences policy changes for assigned functional areas that involve long-range, highly complex, and often sensitive topics. Represents AFOSI PJ with a variety of installation and functional area organizations across all DoD-wide (Army, Air Force, Joint bases) serviced installations. Manages the Execution of AFOSI PJ’s Compliance Inspections Programs for Mission Support Functions. Requirements Conditions of employment
U.S. Citizenship Required Males must be registered for Selective Service, see www.sss.gov If authorized, PCS will be paid IAW JTR and AF Regulations. If receiving an authorized PCS, you may be subject to completing/signing a CONUS agreement. This position is subject to provisions of the DoD Priority Placement Program Disclosure of Political Appointments Work may occasionally require travel away from the normal duty station on military or commercial aircraft. Employee may be required to work extended or other than normal duty hours to include evenings and weekends and may be subject to recall. Employee must successfully complete a suitability investigation. Employee must consent to and successfully pass a counterintelligence-scope polygraph. Special Sensitive Security Clearances. In order to qualify, you must meet the specialized experience requirements described in the Office of Personnel Management (OPM) Qualification Standards for General Schedule Positions, Administrative and Management Positions. SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE:
Applicants must have at least one (1) year of specialized experience at the next lower grade
GS-12 , or equivalent in other pay systems. Knowledge of Air Force, DoD, and federal financial, personnel, logistics, communications, computers, and information management processes. Knowledge of safety and security regulations, practices, and procedures to develop logistics annexes to plans, to obtain supplies and equipment for the region, and provide travel assistance to personnel. Knowledge of Air Force logistics management policies and procedures to develop logistics annexes to plans and orders, programming plans, and general support, contingency, and exercise plans. Knowledge of the missions, functions, goals, objectives, work processes, and sources of funding of budget activities in order to relate needs and accomplishments of services activities to anticipated and actual dollar figures in the budget. Ability to plan, organize, and direct the functions and mentor, motivate, and appraise the staff of an organization through subordinate supervisors. Ability to analyze, plan, and adjust work operations of one or more organizational segments to meet program requirements and objectives within available resources. Additional information
