Operations Director
to oversee its West Coast operations. The position will focus on managing a high-performing team, ensuring operational excellence, and driving efficiency across air, ocean, and domestic freight services. Key Responsibilities
Lead and develop an operations team to deliver best-in-class service. Oversee freight forwarding, customs, warehousing, and transport functions. Act as the senior escalation point for operational and client issues. Partner with sales and account management to support growth strategies. Negotiate with carriers and suppliers to secure competitive terms. Monitor KPIs, manage budgets, and implement process improvements. Ensure compliance with policies, procedures, and industry standards. Candidate Profile
8–10 years’ experience in international freight forwarding and US domestic logistics. Proven leadership of teams of 8+ staff at senior management level. Strong expertise in multimodal freight, customs compliance, and warehouse operations. Track record of improving performance, streamlining processes, and driving profitability.
