Purpose
With deep experience in translating commercial insights & analytics into strategic implication, an appetite for innovation and a care for people, the Director, Global Oncology Commercial Insights and Analytics leads a team of competitive intelligence, market research, forecasting and analytics professionals to shape the oncology pipeline strategy. Through deep understanding of disease and market, customers’ needs, perceptions and behaviors, monitoring and evaluating emerging targets/MOAs, competitors’ strategies/tactics and developing commercial opportunity assessments, you will partner across the value chain to enable clinical development and commercialization and maximize J&J’s pipeline value.
You Will Be Responsible For

effectively manage the capacity of the team to meet the dynamic needs of the business and ensure business continuity
support team members’ career development
Inspires the team to deliver business impact through integrated insights and analytics
Build Industry Leading GCI Capabilities That Shape Business Strategies
Enhance insights and analytics capabilities that support key strategic global commercial processes (strategy development – ADP/WWSAP; commercial input to governance processes – ORB/IC; annual budget planning, LRFP, commercial evaluations for BD)
Build partnerships and new ways of working with key stakeholders to deliver fit for purpose insights and analytics
Partner with other DAS GCI leads to ensure consistency in implementation of key processes across market research, competitive intelligence and forecasting
Partner with regions and cross-functional stakeholders
Ensure timely implementation of LRFP & execution
Coordinate with regions on market research and competitive intelligence projects
Partner with regions and global stakeholders on strategic processes (annual budget planning, BD)
Drive insights and best practice sharing across stakeholder groups
Partner with regions and global stakeholders on strategic KPI tracking (performance, launch)
Education / Qualifications
A minimum of a Bachelor's degree is required; MS/MBA is preferred
Experience and Skills
A minimum of 10+ years of dynamic experience in the pharmaceutical industry is required
5-7 years of people management experience is required
Advanced communication and presentation skills
Strategic analysis, business context & implications: ability to identify opportunities, develop business cases and pull through solutions
Collaboration: experience in creating cross-functional teams and business structures to solve complex challenges
Influencing & Negotiating: ability to influence senior leaders and colleagues at all levels
Growing and developing talent: experience leading a team of direct reports
Operational excellence: ability to drive improvements in ways of working, GCI processes, tools and technology
Preferred
Oncology experience is preferred
Broad experience in commercial (sales, marketing, BD) and commercial analytics areas is preferred
This position is based in Raritan, NJ and will require up to 10% domestic and international travel.

The anticipated base pay range for this position is:
$146,000 to $251,850
