About the Role

We are seeking a Deployment Strategist for our Public Sector team to drive the successful adoption and strategic implementation of Salesforce solutions for mission-critical work across the U.S. Department of Defense, Intelligence Community, Aerospace & Allied Nations. The Missionforce Deployment Strategist is a trusted advisor and the primary front-facing contact for our national security and allied defense programs. This role focuses on solutioning, strategic oversight, and executive relationship management rather than hands-on technical execution. You will work with mission owners to define and steer Salesforce strategy and roadmap, bridging strategic needs with capabilities across AI, enterprise systems, analytics, and logistics. You will understand customer problems, facilitate workshops (e.g., agent design and jobs-to-be-done) to craft innovative solutions that leverage Salesforce. You will address organizational readiness for AI adoption and guide customers through changes to maximize investment. Mission Impact

Strategic Solutioning & Design Leadership:

Lead analysis and design of Salesforce solutions for DoD, IC, and Aerospace & Allied Nations customers, leveraging Data Cloud, Flows, and Salesforce APIs. Translate complex business challenges into actionable architectures and deployment plans focused on business impact. Deployment Ownership & Program Management:

Provide oversight for deployment, ensure integration with existing infrastructure, monitor progress, and guide optimization for reliability, scalability, and security, including guardrails for agent behavior. Executive Customer Relationship Management:

Serve as primary front-facing contact for deployments, building relationships with government personnel and stakeholders, and presenting proposals that drive value and adoption. Improve Efficiency, Mission-Readiness, and Trust:

Help the U.S. and allied governments deploy technology for faster responses, better personnel utilization, and improved logistics and asset management. Facilitation & Workshop Leadership:

Design and lead workshops to define optimal AI solutions and drive alignment across customer teams. Trusted Technical & Strategic Partner:

Embed with client teams to understand challenges and goals, providing guidance and presenting results that drive value and adoption. Conversation Design & User Experience:

Apply foundational Conversation Design skills to guide intuitive AI experiences. Organizational Readiness & Change Management:

Assess readiness for AI adoption and guide process transformations to maximize benefits of intelligent agents. Product Evolution & Strategic Feedback:

Feedback loop to product/engineering to influence platform evolution and improvements. AI Strategy & Responsible AI:

Lead AI strategy discussions, promoting Responsible AI principles and guardrails for safe usage. Required Qualifications

5+ years of experience in strategic solutioning and overseeing cloud technology deployments, with a track record of leading enterprise projects. Understanding of the Salesforce platform and ecosystem. Experience leading AI/LLM deployments and end-to-end engagement management. Ability to solve open-ended problems in ambiguous environments with a curious, analytical approach. Entrepreneurial spirit with a focus on fast delivery and measurable customer impact. Excellent collaboration and communication skills; able to explain complex concepts to non-technical stakeholders and executives. Experience managing executive customer relationships in a strategic advisory role. Experience in AI consulting, including conversation design, responsible AI practices, and prompt engineering. Experience working in or adjacent to secure environments. Ability to travel 25-50% of the time

as needed to customer sites. Must be a U.S. citizen (U.S. born or naturalized) living on U.S. soil who does not hold dual citizenship with the ability to meet customer and government screening standards applicable to this role. Eligible for a US Security Clearance Preferred Qualifications

Experience supporting DoD, IC, or Federal Civilian agencies. Background in defense/aerospace or military/logistics experience. Familiarity with IL5/IL6/CNSS #1253 or deployment to classified environments. Experience with Salesforce Data Cloud and/or Agentforce platform. Experience developing conversational AI solutions in regulated environments. Salesforce certifications (e.g., Admin, Data Cloud Consultant, Agentforce Specialist). Knowledge across Salesforce CRM (Service, Sales, Marketing Clouds).
