Master Data Governance/Management - Senior - Consulting - Location OPEN at EY. EY’s Analytics and Data team seeks a Master Data Management Senior focusing on helping clients define and drive data management strategy and technology implementation. The role includes defining a master data management design and delivering system implementation, guiding clients through adoption of advanced technologies. This opportunity requires designing and applying methods, practices, policies, tools, and processes to govern the lifecycle of data assets, performing maturity assessments, and advising on tools and roadmaps for implementation. A strong understanding of business strategy in relation to data value at scale is essential. Key Responsibilities
Designing and implementing data governance frameworks aligned with business objectives. Collaborating with stakeholders to build analytics solutions that deliver tangible business value. Conducting maturity assessments to enhance data management capabilities across the organization. Developing solutions to complex problems, including functional and technical design of master data management software. Guiding clients in defining a data governance strategy, including data quality, data catalog, master data management, analytics use cases, AI/ML readiness, and alignment to ERP and CRM applications. Data integrity assurance: implementing data quality tools and processes to maintain data standards. Engaging in requirements gathering, interpreting BRDs, and collaborating with system analysts to develop source-to-target mappings. Performing data scrutiny: examining data in source databases prior to migration to data warehouses and creating detailed technical specifications aligned with BRDs. Leading multiple engagements simultaneously to deliver high-quality services and client satisfaction. May require regular travel to meet with external clients and contribute to projects. Qualifications
To qualify for the role, you must have Bachelor’s degree (4-year) in Engineering, Advanced Data Analytics, or a related technical field. Minimum of 3 years of direct experience with MDM tools including SAP MDG and/or Informatica MDM. ERP implementation experience including full cycles of SAP with SAP MDG as a component. Typically, at least 3 years of developer experience in master data management software. Strong understanding of Data Governance principles and Enterprise IT Architecture. A valid driver’s license in the US and willingness to travel internationally for client needs. Track record of successful stakeholder engagement. Ideally, you’ll also have Experience with complex problem solving and critical thinking. Familiarity with digital fluency and hybrid collaboration tools. Comprehensive compensation and benefits, including a base salary range (varies by location): $106,900–$176,500; NYC Metro/Washington State/California ranges: $128,400–$200,600.
