As a Manager in EY’s Health consulting practice, Healthcare Transformation focusing on Provider Operations, you will work with hospitals, health systems, physician practices, and academic medical centers to assess and redesign clinical processes, manage client engagement teams, and contribute to business development on strategic and global priority accounts. Your Key Responsibilities

Spend most of your time teaming with a provider operations team to assess and redesign clinical processes for a broad spectrum of healthcare clients, including not-for-profit and for-profit organizations. Lead provider operations initiatives across areas such as operational improvement, benchmarking and financial quantification, cost reduction/revenue enhancement, workflow redesign, and patient access initiatives (template management, template optimization, scheduling algorithms). Build relationships with client personnel; deliver high-quality work within time and budget; monitor progress and manage risk; keep stakeholders informed. Cultivate and manage business development opportunities; understand EY services and proactively identify ways to serve clients; develop long-term client relationships. Demonstrate in-depth technical capabilities and professional knowledge. To qualify for the role you must have

A bachelor’s degree and ~5 years of related work experience; or a master’s degree and ~4 years of related work experience Approximately 4 years of healthcare consulting experience; prior managerial experience preferred Experience with patient access and centralized contact centers; ability to lead patient access initiatives including clinician management, template management/optimization, referral management, and scheduling algorithms Experience with centralization of patient access functions, including contact center staffing models and technology for various engagement channels Ability to read and interpret hospital financial statements and contracts; use complex financial models; map operational processes; and participate in cost reduction planning and implementation Experience with healthcare organization M&A, physician alignment, or financial margin improvement initiatives Experience selling and delivering end-to-end projects (assessment, design, implementation) and developing new prospects at the C‑level Ability to manage a team of staff/senior consultants and work collaboratively in a team environment Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools (Excel models, Visio, PowerPoint) Willingness to travel as needed by the client Ideally you’ll also have

Degree with emphasis in Finance, Accounting, and/or Business; CPA, MBA, MHA, and/or MPH What We Look For
