Business Consulting - Healthcare Transformation - Manager - Patient Access at EY. The role focuses on provider operations within EY’s Health consulting practice, working with not-for-profit and for-profit healthcare clients (hospitals, healthcare systems, physician practices, academic medical centers) to assess and redesign clinical processes and patient access operations. Responsibilities

Lead and manage client engagement teams focused on provider operations and patient access. Collaborate with a wide range of healthcare clients to deliver professional services and drive business development on strategic accounts. Assess, design, and implement improvements in clinical processes, including patient access initiatives, template management, template optimization, and scheduling algorithms. Drive operational improvement, benchmarking and financial quantification, cost reduction/revenue enhancement, and workflow redesign. Develop and maintain relationships with client personnel at appropriate levels; ensure high-quality work products, timely delivery, budget alignment, risk management, and stakeholder communications. Cultivate business development opportunities and understand EY service lines to expand client relationships. Demonstrate technical capabilities and professional knowledge; mentor junior consultants and contribute to a collaborative team environment. Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree with approximately 5 years of related experience; or Master’s degree with approximately 4 years of related experience. Approximately 4 years of healthcare consulting experience, preferably at manager level or above in a consulting firm or industry role. Experience with patient access and centralized contact centers; ability to lead patient access initiatives including clinician management, template management, referral management, and scheduling algorithms in ambulatory settings. Experience centralizing patient access functions, including contact center staffing models and engagement-channel technology. Ability to read and interpret hospital financial statements and contracts, build complex financial models, map operational processes, and participate in cost reduction planning and implementation. Experience with healthcare M&A, physician alignment, or financial margin improvement initiatives; experience selling and delivering end-to-end projects (assessment, design, implementation). Ability to generate revenue within existing clients and develop new prospects at the executive level (“C” level). Ability to manage a team of staff/senior consultants; strong teamwork and leadership skills; excellent analytical, verbal, and written communication skills. Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools (Excel models, Visio workflows, PowerPoint); willingness to travel as required by client needs. Preferred/Ideal

Degree emphasis in Finance, Accounting, and/or Business; CPA, MBA, MHA and/or MPH are desirable. What We Look For
