Intellectual Property Associate Attorney | BIGLAW Lateral Opportunity We’re seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Intellectual Property attorney to join a leading IP practice. This is an opportunity to work on high-impact matters involving IP prosecution, transactions, and litigation across a wide range of industries and technologies.

Location & Focus Locations:

Major U.S. Markets + Hybrid/Flexible

Focus Areas:

Patents, Trademarks, Copyrights, IP Strategy & Licensing

Responsibilities

Draft and prosecute

patent and/or trademark applications

Conduct

IP due diligence

and

freedom-to-operate analyses

Advise on

licensing , portfolio strategy, and IP enforcement

Support

litigation efforts

including motion practice and trial prep

Negotiate and draft

IP-related agreements

(licensing, development, confidentiality)

Qualifications

JD from an accredited law school

Active bar license;

USPTO registration preferred

(for patent work)

3–6 years of IP experience (litigation, prosecution, or transactions)

Strong writing, analytical, and client-facing skills

Technical background

(e.g., engineering, computer science, life sciences) preferred

Trademark

prosecution and enforcement

Tech transactions , open-source compliance, and licensing

Supporting IP in

M&A and corporate transactions
