About This Job
This is a 6-9 month temporary position
The Senior Specialist, Colleague and Community Development, will play a key role in delivering high-quality, timely, and engaging internal communications and program support across the enterprise. This temporary role is ideal for a versatile communications professional with strong project management skills, an eye for detail, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
You will manage workflows and deliverables in Workfront, create and deploy impactful content across multiple platforms, and support initiatives that strengthen our colleague experience and community engagement programs.
Responsibilities
Project Management: Lead day-to-day management of projects in the Workfront platform, ensuring deadlines are met, resources are coordinated, and deliverables are of high quality
Internal Communications:
Write, edit, and deploy communications through platforms such as ContactMonkey and email
Develop, schedule, and manage monthly content calendars
Produce articles for the monthly newsletter and weekly internal news updates
Create and edit short-form copy for social media posts supporting internal campaigns and recognition
Program Support:
Assist with communications and engagement efforts for the AxKicker employee recognition platform
Support awards tracking and promotion across the company
Partner with the CRA team to develop and maintain the annual employee volunteer calendar and communications strategy
Provide light event coordination for internal colleague engagement activities
Strategy & Planning: Contribute to the creation and execution of communication strategies that support enterprise-wide programs and initiatives
Content Creation: Build and format PowerPoint presentations, develop copy for multiple audiences, and ensure all messaging aligns with brand voice and guidelines
Collaboration: Work closely with internal business partners and cross-functional teams to deliver effective, timely communications and program support
Additional Duties: Provide flexible support for various colleague and community development initiatives as assigned
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Marketing, Public Relations, or related field preferred, or equivalent experience
4+ years of professional experience in communications, marketing, or related roles, preferably in a corporate or agency environment
Strong writing, editing, and proofreading skills, with experience tailoring content to multiple audiences and formats
Proficiency in project management tools (Workfront preferred) and collaboration platforms
Experience with email communication platforms (e.g., ContactMonkey, Stensul, etc.)
Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment
Comfortable working cross-functionally and building strong relationships across teams
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, especially PowerPoint
Strong organizational skills with high attention to detail
Presentation skills and comfort with public speaking a plus
