Investor Relations Associate

Our client is a Houston-based private investment firm with over $30B AUM. They partner with investors to support long-term growth in sectors such as renewables, traditional energy, infrastructure, and low-carbon tech. About our client: Our client is seeking a Principal, Corporate Finance & Accounting | Sustainability, Energy, & Infrastructure to support their team. Responsibilities: Support capital raising efforts by developing detailed financial presentations, fund performance analyses, and investor pitch materials Conduct financial analysis and benchmarking of fund performance metrics, including IRR, MOIC, and DPI across investment vehicles Assist with portfolio-level analytics and reporting, working closely with finance and investment teams to ensure data accuracy and consistency Prepare investor reporting packages, capital account statements, and ad hoc financial summaries for existing and prospective LPs Analyze investor commitments, capital call activity, and distribution trends to provide insights to internal stakeholders and support strategic planning Maintain and enhance financial content in data rooms and CRM systems; manage workflows related to LP due diligence requests Participate in the development of fund models and scenario analysis to support fundraising discussions and investor negotiations Coordinate and execute investor meetings, earnings-style calls, and LPAC sessions, including preparation of agendas, materials, and follow-up analyses Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree required; MBA or similar advanced degree preferred 3–5+ years of relevant experience in investor relations, private equity, asset management, public accounting, or investment banking Outstanding verbal and written communication skills Strong analytical abilities and attention to detail Ability to multitask and manage high-priority projects independently Highly proficient in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint; familiarity with industry databases a plus Professional demeanor and the ability to build trust-based relationships with sophisticated investors Seniority level:
