Social Media Specialist

to join the team as the voice of our clients’ brands and help develop and grow online communities. What You’ll Do

Day-to-day social media community management, engaging with consumers, fans, and communities on behalf of the brand across social channels. Actively engage with consumers 1:1, respond to questions, concerns, and general brand love; identify opportunities to respond to consumers and comment on brand-right, trend-relevant content to build the brand’s reputation and reach. Stay informed about what’s new in social platforms and capabilities (including Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, and TikTok). Revise engagement tactics and recommendations to clients in response to platform developments. Create and deliver social media performance reports, define KPIs, and make recommendations based on performance. Line management of hourly team members, including training and onboarding and keeping the team up to speed on tools and trends. About You

Passionate and curious about social media, with an eye for trends and internet culture. You have excellent written and verbal communication skills, flawless spelling and grammar, and can craft engaging copy based on a client’s brand and tone of voice. You are detail-oriented, able to multitask, prioritize, and meet deadlines. You are a collaborative team player who can build strong internal and external relationships. You are a proactive problem solver who can identify opportunities to increase effectiveness with minimal supervision. You are committed to excellence and can work non-standard hours when necessary. You take pride in your work and in representing Social Element. Experience

A minimum of one year of hands-on experience engaging with social media communities, communicating on behalf of brands on social, contributing to social media reports, and executing a brand’s social media strategy. Working knowledge of social media platforms, including Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, Twitter, and YouTube, and their audiences. Experience with alcohol brands is a plus. Benefits
