Purpose The Senior Director, Patient Engagement Content Optimization is accountable for developing and executing content strategies that elevate Lilly’s leadership in patient engagement across clinical trial design and delivery. Primary Responsibilities: Develop and lead content strategy that outlines clear objectives and activities across multiple workstreams that impact the patient journey. Forecast and manage budgets for major initiatives, aligning resource allocation with long-term strategic goals. Create and leverage clinical trial messaging to support speaking opportunities. Work with Global Communications to drive timely and targeted content delivery. Influence senior leadership and external partners to shape strategic decisions and drive innovation in patient experience. Utilize messaging performance data and audience analytics to inform and adjust content strategies. Enterprise Leadership and External Focus Develop and lead content strategy that outlines clear objectives and activities across multiple workstreams. Forecast and manage budgets for major initiatives. Create and leverage clinical trial messaging to support speaking opportunities. Work with Global Communications to drive timely and targeted content delivery. Influence senior leadership and external partners. Utilize messaging performance data and audience analytics. People Management and Partnership Support organizational change management and drive shared learning across the enterprise. Integrate with enterprise teams to share key updates. Manage and work with vendor(s) to improve strategy and execution of tactics. Develop and manage strategic partnerships with internal and external stakeholders. Minimum Qualification Requirements Bachelor’s degree or higher in journalism, communications, public relations, marketing or related field. Minimum of 8-10 years of communications experience in a global, matrixed organization. Legally authorized to be employed in the United States.
