Registered Nurse – Telemetry (Tele) Travel Position Location: Asheville, NC Job Type: Travel Contract Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 3×12s Nights, Days Pay: $2,052/week (plus $2,450 completion bonus per contract, up to $7,350 after three contracts) Job Description We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Telemetry (Tele) Registered Nurse (RN) to join a healthcare facility in Asheville, NC on a 13-week travel assignment. The RN will provide high-quality nursing care to patients requiring continuous cardiac monitoring and medical-surgical support. The ideal candidate has strong telemetry experience, thrives in high-acuity environments, and is committed to delivering compassionate, evidence-based, patient-centered care. Key Responsibilities Deliver comprehensive nursing care to patients on the Telemetry unit. Monitor and interpret cardiac rhythms, promptly recognizing and responding to changes in patient condition. Administer prescribed medications, IV therapies, and treatments accurately and efficiently. Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary healthcare team members to develop and implement individualized care plans. Educate patients and their families on health conditions, treatment plans, and discharge instructions. Document all assessments, interventions, and outcomes accurately and in a timely manner in the medical record. Adhere to infection control protocols, safety standards, and evidence-based nursing practices. Qualifications Current and valid RN license in North Carolina (or compact eligibility). Minimum 1–2 years of recent Telemetry nursing experience in an acute care setting. Current certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS). Strong assessment, communication, and clinical decision-making skills in high-pressure environments. Compassionate and adaptable approach to patient care. COVID-19 vaccine and recent tuberculosis test.
