AtGlobal Laser Enrichment (GLE), safeguarding sensitive information is a mission-critical responsibility. We are seeking a Classification Officer to oversee and manage our classification program in compliance with U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) and Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) regulations.

What Youll Do Administer and manage the Companys classification program in compliance with DOE/NRC guidance. Qualify, train, and oversee Derivative Classifiers; ensure they remain technically competent. Conduct periodic classification training and awareness briefings for employees. Develop, review, and update classification guidance tailored to company operations. Perform evaluations and audits of the classification program. Analyze complex engineering and scientific information to provide classification determinations. Respond to classification challenges and prepare declassification proposals. Act as a subject matter expert for export-controlled, sensitive nuclear technology, and controlled unclassified information programs. Advise leadership and the Security Manager on classification-related policies and procedures. Maintain strong working relationships with DOE and NRC classification officials.

What Youll Bring U.S. Citizenship (required). Active or eligible DOE/NRC Q-Clearance (or equivalent DOD Top Secret). Bachelors degree in a technical, engineering, or scientific discipline. 5+ years of related experience within nuclear-related programs. Strong understanding of classification guides and information security programs. Experience handling classified or sensitive information. Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and technical writing.

Preferred Qualifications Certification as a Classification Officer (DOE Classification Training Institute), ability to obtain/maintain. Demonstrated success interfacing with federal regulatory agencies. Advanced experience in classification program development, audits, or compliance in a highly regulated environment.

Important Note This role requires the ability to obtain and maintain both a DOE/NRC Q-Clearance and Classification Officer certification.
