Corvid Technologies is continuing to expand its ability to design, prototype, and test wire harnesses and electrical components for DoD customers. The Production Lab Manager will oversee daily lab operations to ensure the timely and accurate assembly, inspection, and testing of avionics harnesses and components. Candidate will need to effectively communicate with their team as well as interacting with engineering staff & leadership to align the labs capabilities with customer and corporate objectives. The ideal candidate will have strong technical knowledge of avionics harnesses and components, a background in aerospace or defense environments, and demonstrated experience in managing teams and resources in a production lab setting. The leader in this role will collaborate with engineering staff to provide input on design decisions as well as testing procedures. This position will be critical in helping Corvid develop and manufacture reliable components that meet or exceed customer requirements. Responsibilities: Develop and implement lab procedures, best practices, and quality improvement measures Lead the team responsible for assembly, testing, and inspection of avionics harnesses and electronic components - including training staff, Develop an organized, safe, and productive lab environment that includes proper documentation, lab activity records, quality standards and safety procedures Ensure work is performed in accordance with engineering drawings, specifications, and quality standards Maintain lab equipment calibration, manage tool and equipment inventory, and oversee maintenance and procurement needs. Coordinate workflow and scheduling to meet project milestones and deadlines. Qualifications: Candidate must be a US Citizen and meet eligibility to obtain (and maintain) a Secret Clearance Position requires at least an Associate's Degree in Electronics or related discipline and 5 years of relevant experience (Bachelor's Degree is preferred, additional experience may sub for degree) Candidate must demonstrate proficiency in interpreting engineering drawings, wiring schematics, and work instructions as it relates to developing lab procedures and best practices Candidate should have at least 2 years of experience leading a similar team, with a preference for experience in the aerospace or defense industry Demonstrated expertise in electronics manufacturing, harness assembly techniques, and avionics testing methods is required Experience with lab equipment (multimeters, oscilloscopes, cable testers, etc.) and ESD protocols is required About Corvid: Corvid Technologies is an engineering firm specializing in high-fidelity, computational modeling and simulation to analyze, design, and manufacture products for aerospace, DoD, and commercial customers.
