Corvid Technologies is looking for an Accounting Manager to help lead and strengthen our accounting function across both our engineering and manufacturing businesses. In this role, you'll be a significant contributor to the monthly close process, oversee GL activity, provide guidance during audit activities, and ensure compliance and accuracy in everything we do. You'll partner closely with leadership to keep our financial reporting sharp while also developing a fundamental understanding of the organization's financial operations to assist in informed decision-making. In order to be successful in this position, you will need to be able to work independently while also collaborating with stakeholders across the organization to understand corporate objectives and operations. Critical tasking will include: Lead month-end and year-end close processes Manage reconciliations, journal entries, and financial reporting Coordinate with external auditors, tax teams, and regulatory bodies Implement and improve accounting processes, controls, and systems Mentor and guide junior accounting staff Take ownership of treasury management Requirements: Candidate must be a US Citizen You will need at least a Bachelor's Degree in Accounting (or similar degree) and at least 5 years of progressive accounting experience (CPA's are encouraged to apply) Strong knowledge of GAAP and internal controls Experience with ERP systems (Deltek Costpoint preferred) Demonstrated experience and/or understanding of inventory and intercompany controls is a plus About Corvid: Corvid Technologies is an engineering firm specializing in high-fidelity, computational modeling and simulation to analyze, design, and manufacture products for aerospace, DoD, and commercial customers.
