Patel Research Institute, also located at AdventHealth Tampa, leads the way in clinical and academic research in the areas of neuroscience, cardiovascular medicine, advanced surgery and more – contributing valuable knowledge that leads to tomorrow’s cures for conditions such as heart failure, cancer and other diseases.” The role you’ll contribute: Responsible for managing the administrative aspects of residency and fellowship programs. This role oversees daily activities of the residency program office, including planning, preparation, and execution of program functions. This position coordinates human resource activities for residents and faculty, including orientation, contracting, progressive discipline, and graduation. Other expectations include serving as a subject matter expert and liaison for supporting programs. The value you’ll bring to the team: • Organizes and manages all aspects of board preparation, including scheduling, materials, and resources. • Orients new residents and fellows, providing necessary training and ensuring they have access to required resources. • Maintains records and schedules meetings to support residents and fellows. • Assists with administrative tasks to ensure smooth transitions for new recruits. • Coordinates human resource activities for residents and faculty, including orientation, contracting, progressive discipline, and graduation. • Acts as the subject matter expert for the Program Director, residents, program faculty, and staff regarding accreditation standards and institutional policies. • Oversees daily activities of the residency program office, including planning, preparation, and execution of program functions. • Serves as the primary GME administrative liaison between the clinical teaching site and the sponsoring institution's GME office for site-specific operations.
