We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Business Development Manager focused on Contract Manufacturing within the Medical Device industry. This is an exceptional opportunity for a seasoned professional who is experienced in Original Equipment Manufacturing (OEM), account development, and sales within the Engineering industry. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of identifying new business opportunities, developing strategic partnerships, and driving growth. This role requires a deep understanding of the manufacturing sector, a strong network of industry contacts, and exceptional negotiation skills.
Responsibilities: Develop and implement strategic business development plans to achieve or exceed agreed levels of profitable sales revenue. Identify and pursue potential clients, partnerships, and business opportunities in the manufacturing and engineering sector. Manage and grow existing customer accounts by offering solutions and services to meet their needs. Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, partners, and stakeholders to foster long-term business growth. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure product development aligns with customer needs and market trends. Conduct market research and analysis to understand industry trends and competitive landscape. Prepare and present sales proposals, presentations, and reports to stakeholders. Participate in industry events and conferences to network and promote the company's products and services. Qualifications:
A minimum of 5 years of experience in business development, sales, or a related role within the engineering or manufacturing industry. Proven experience in OEM, account development, and sales. A solid understanding of manufacturing processes, product development, and contract negotiation. Exceptional communication and presentation skills with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts to a variety of audiences. Strong analytical skills with the ability to make data-driven decisions. Demonstrated ability to build and maintain relationships with clients and partners. Excellent leadership and team management skills. Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, or a related field. Must be willing to travel as required.
