Responsibilities:
Lead and develop the plant leadership team (Warehouse, Production, Planning, Quality, Maintenance, HR) Ensure all products are produced, packaged, and shipped safely, efficiently, and in compliance with USDA/FDA regulations Drive continuous improvement initiatives to improve quality, safety, service, and cost Maintain SQF certification, food safety standards, and regulatory compliance Analyze key plant metrics to identify and implement operational improvements Manage budgets, labor, and overhead costs effectively Set clear expectations, delegate responsibilities, and hold teams accountable Foster a positive, family-oriented culture while leading change with confidence Requirements:
Bachelor's degree 5+ years of leadership experience in a process manufacturing environment (food manufacturing required) Strong knowledge of USDA/FDA regulations, GMPs, and SQF processes Proven experience with Lean/Continuous Improvement methodologies Track record of improving results in quality, safety, service, and cost Strong leadership skills: approachable, personable, but confident in driving accountability Budgeting and cost control expertise Knowledge of Environmental, Safety, and Workers' Compensation standards
