Responsibilities

  • Welcome all customers with genuine, friendly enthusiasm over the phone, virtual chats, and in person. Communicate clearly and concisely by adapting your style to suit the customer; problem solve, demonstrate excellent phone skills, and resolve conflicts.
  • Use all systems to manage the customer flow and deliver a Five-Star Customer Service experience.
  • Maintain service vows: Be Prepared, Welcoming, Meet Needs, and Be There for all customers, including completing operational checklist tasks and meeting emotional and practical customer needs.
  • Provide an exceptional service experience to multiple customers at one time and contribute to the store's Five-Star Customer Service achievement.
  • Proactively address customer concerns with confidence. Know when to escalate and partner with the leadership team.
  • Explain how alterations can play a role in perfecting the dress for her event in partnership with Alterations; promote all alteration services and personalization options.
  • Maintain store standards to support a flawless shopping experience and uphold a professional dress code policy.
  • Respond promptly to all customer questions with product and service information.
  • Build and maintain long-term relationships to meet and exceed customer satisfaction and loyalty.
  • Engage in inventory management procedures by processing orders, receiving, and ensuring first quality standards for all merchandise.
  • Support cash wrap processes and complete transactions accurately to help every customer feel celebrated.
  • Assist with sales promotions and visual updates.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent; 1-2 years of prior retail experience in apparel, service, or a specialty store environment.

Physical Demands

  • While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally required to stand, walk, and sit for extended periods. Able to reach for tools and objects with hands and arms; climb stairs; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl; talk to and hear customers. May occasionally lift up to 25 pounds. Must be able to see up close and at a distance and use peripheral vision and depth perception. Must be able to read and use a computer, electronic devices, and phones for long periods.

Salary

The starting rate of pay offered varies based on factors including position offered, location, training, and experience. The base pay range of $17-21/hr is specific to the state this role is posted in and may not be applicable to other locations.
