Role Overview

Seeking an experienced Lead Mainframe Tester with strong expertise in core banking applications—Hogan, ALS, CACS, and ACAPS. The role demands deep testing knowledge, leadership skills, and coordination with customers, stakeholders, and teams to ensure quality and timely delivery of banking projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end testing for Hogan (deposits/core banking), ALS (loan servicing), CACS (collections/account management), and ACAPS (credit card processing) applications.
• Collaborate with customers, business analysts, developers to define test strategies.
• Develop detailed test plans, scenarios, and cases from business/functional requirements.
• Manage test execution, defect tracking, closure, and ensure requirements traceability.
• Coordinate onsite and offshore teams as a single point of contact.
• Handle resource planning, workload distribution, and status reporting.
• Support UAT, guide defect triage, and facilitate smooth releases.
• Drive process improvements and contribute to automation/modernization in mainframe testing.
• Mentor junior testers, enhancing domain and technical skills.

Required Skills

• Deep banking domain knowledge in Hogan, ALS, CACS, ACAPS.
• Experience in test strategy, planning, estimation, and team coordination.
• Proficient with defect and test management tools: HP ALM, JIRA, qTest.
• Solid understanding of STLC, SDLC, Agile, and QA governance.
• Excellent stakeholder management, communication, leadership, and customer-facing skills.
