Summary – basic function of the role

The primary function of this position is to help shipping pull orders and receiving, and organize returns. Major responsibilities include maintaining a clean facility and assisting in moving and organizing assets.

Work Schedule: Monday – Friday; overtime, weekends, and holidays may be required, as well as participation in the on-call rotation

Location: 320 Deerwood Glen Dr., Deer Park, TX 77536

Job Duties and Responsibilities

  • Support shipping with pulling orders and maintaining supporting documentation.
  • Support receiving by taking returned products to the correct bay to be repaired.
  • Support repair cells with moving equipment between cells and returning repaired equipment to the bays.
  • Maintain a clean facility by sweeping floors and performing cleaning duties.
  • Manage paint touch-ups.
  • Assist in maintaining equipment in the correct bays.
  • Drive continuous improvement, 5S, and other workplace housekeeping duties.
  • Carry out driving duties in accordance with the company’s requirements.
  • Adhere to the company’s procedures related to quality management and environmental systems.
  • Follow the company’s safety procedures and policies.
  • If required, may need to pass forklift and other driving functions as specified for the job site.

Skills and Competencies

  • Apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.

Education and Experience

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Warehouse experience is preferred
  • Forklift certification is preferred

Physical Demands

Employee may have to lift documents/work materials up to 30 pounds and tools up to 100 pounds. May be required to walk, climb, and work in various environments including ladders, stairs, and confined spaces. May need to operate machinery, power tools, and motor vehicles. Requires effective communication with team members and the ability to work at a computer and phone for extended periods. Repetitive motions of the wrists, hands, and fingers may occur.

Work Environment

Typical warehouse environment with loud noise, varying temperatures, outdoor elements, and potential hazards. Basic PPE is required: safety glasses, gloves, and steel-toed boots. Reasonable accommodations will be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform essential functions.
