Sr. HR Associate/HR Service Center Analyst
TITAN has an immediate opening with a client partner who will work within their office 5 days/week. Candidates must live within 50 miles of the office location in Overland Park, KS.
Overview
This role on the Human Resources (HR) Support Center is responsible for supporting employees, contingent labor, retirees, and potential employees through the employment life cycle. This role will be a data entry heavy role providing operational support across the organization. Must have strong customer service and computer skills. The role will be benefits entry on Craft employees for open enrollment in Peoplesoft.
Members of this team serve as the first point of contact regarding program administration needs across a variety of business lines and global geographical regions. This role will utilize HCM tools and vendor platforms to perform functions related to employee records maintenance, benefit enrollment administration, pre-employment screening reviews, employment verifications, LOA administration, and other functions as required.
Skills
- 1-2+ years of relevant Human Resources work experience or equivalent training preferred
- Previous experience/training on HR systems such as PeopleSoft, Workday, SuccessFactors, etc.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office products; including Excel for reporting and analysis
- Understanding of company provided benefits plans, policies, procedures, and guidelines.
- Problem-solving and analytical skills (Identify, analyze, research, evaluate, resolve)
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
- Ability to communicate effectively both in written communication and verbally
- Ability to demonstrate sound documentation skills
- Ability to maintain confidentiality
Key Responsibilities
- Supports current, past, and future labor force as it relates to HR services, company processes, policies, and benefits utilizing the case management and telephony tools.
- Serve as a front-line agent for all HR inquiries, providing appropriate routing to Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) when needed.
- Commits to data security and maintaining and protecting employee information including Personally Identifiable Information (PII) and Personal Health Information (PHI)
- Administers benefits programs and ensures accurate and timely processing of enrollments, changes, and terminations.
- Updates employee records in PeopleSoft HCM tool.
- Leverage process documentation and maintain updates as needed. Escalates system usage issues to HR Systems team and partners to determine solution.
- Cross-trains co-workers on shared duties.
- Contributes to continuous improvement initiatives to enhance HR service delivery and efficiency.
- Participates in special projects and initiatives as needed.
Education
Associate degree or equivalent experience. All applicants must be able to complete pre-employment onboarding requirements (if selected) which may include any/all of the following: criminal/civil background check, drug screen, and motor vehicle records search, in compliance with any applicable laws and regulations.
