Position Title: Cybersecurity Instructional Assistant

Office: Columbus, OH

Reports To: Site Director

Per Scholas hires within the following states: AZ, CA, CO, FL, GA, IL, IN, KS, MD, MA, MI, MO, NC, NJ, NY, OH, PA, TX, WA

We are seeking a Cybersecurity Instructional Assistant to join our Curriculum & Adult Learning organization. This role supports the lead instructor in classroom and administrative tasks and helps grow technical knowledge in a fast-paced, mission-driven environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist the lead instructor in and out of class with teaching and administration of the class.
• Display knowledge or interest in information technology, software and hardware support, network administration, and technology education.
• Out-of-class tasks: grade/review assessments and projects; enter student grades into LMS; update Salesforce data; review curriculum materials; assist with daily agendas; schedule time to discuss class challenges.
• In-class tasks: monitor class functionality (audio/video), act as timekeeper, monitor tests and breakout groups, note class challenges (e.g., engagement levels, participation).
• Maintain a collaborative, data-driven approach; contribute to a culture of continuous improvement; communicate effectively with students and colleagues.

Compensation and Benefits

Target hourly rate: $18.00/hr. This role is indicated as Hybrid.
