Position: Cybersecurity Instructional Assistant

Office: Columbus, OH

Reports To: Site Director

WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR: We are seeking a Cybersecurity Instructional Assistant to join our Curriculum & Adult Learning organization. This person will support the classroom and grow their own technical knowledge.

What You’ll Do

Out-of-Class Tasks and Responsibilities:

• Assist and/or collaborate with the instructor to grade and/or review assessments, class projects, and other materials
• Enter student grades into LMS software and grading templates
• Update Salesforce data as necessary
• Review curriculum materials and assessments weekly and report any proofreading or subject-matter errors
• Assist instructor with the preparation of daily agenda for students
• Schedule time with instructor and students to discuss class challenges
• Monitor learner attendance, certifications’ progress, etc.

In-Class Tasks and Responsibilities:

• Monitor class progress to ensure functionality (audio, video, screen appearance, etc.)
• Serve as class timekeeper and monitor breaks and scheduling information
• Monitor students during test-taking and breakout group activities
• Note challenges in class, including disengagement or uneven participation
• Identify and document any observed issues for improvement

For this role specifically, the hourly rate is $18.00/hr.
