Driver/operator of company vehicles. Provides courteous and efficient delivery and pick-up of packages. Checks shipments for conformance to FedEx features of service and provides related customer service functions. Drives vehicles not regulated by section 391 of the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations. Performs other duties as assigned.

Responsibilities

• Operate company vehicles to deliver and pick up packages in a courteous and efficient manner.
• Verify shipments for conformance to FedEx service standards and provide related customer service functions.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor.

Minimum Education

• High School Diploma/GED.

Minimum Experience

• None

Knowledge, Skills And Abilities

• Ability to lift 50 lbs and maneuver packages above 50 lbs with appropriate equipment and/or assistance.
• Good human relations and communication skills.
• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Ability to read and speak English sufficiently to understand traffic signs, communicate with traffic safety officials, and respond to official inquiries and directions in accordance with FMCSA enforcement guidance.

Job Conditions

• Non-covered safety-sensitive position. Neat appearance required due to customer contact.
• Ability to work in a constant state of alertness and in a safe manner.
• Must be licensed for the type of vehicle assigned.

Pay and Benefits

• Pay: $26.70-$35.25
• Pay Transparency: This compensation range is provided as a reasonable estimate of the current starting salary range for this role across all potential locations. Actual starting pay is determined by experience, location, and other factors permitted by law.
• The Company offers eligible employees health, vision and dental insurance, retirement, and tuition reimbursement.
